A platformer game for the Brackeys Game Jam 2025.1!
Death Jump is a game similar to Jump King, where if you hold the space bar, the higher you will jump, and your goal is to reach the top.
If you ever get stuck in a wall and you cannot move, just press A/D

Very nice visuals and music. I like the way you get thrown back when you hit a wall.
However, as others pointed out, it's a bit hard. Maybe make some indicator to how high the jumps is going to be/show when you fully loaded the jump? For me it is very hard to gauge the jumps otherwise.
Already made it in editor, i'm just waiting for all the music to be done for this game! Thanks for the feedback tho!

Loved it! I've never played Jump King and I admittedly didn't get very far, but the physics were fun to figure out. Our reaper sprite is adorable, especially in such a vibrant little game.
